Functional Vocational Training project is aimed at imparting innovative skills to the young people of the villages/slums. The training is focusing on providing appropriate skills to the youth to set up their own business or trade for self reliance. The need of the time is to learn new skills for improving their livelihood opportunities to build their own future life. The chances of success in the trade are increasing every day as there is good opportunity for young people to venture into new profession. Job opportunities for women in the dress and apparel making units are increasing daily. The remunerations are also very attractive. Soft loans by SHGs and other support agencies for the small entrepreneurs are available. All the avenues of new trades are opened to all the skilled persons.
Focusing on the youth of indigenous and Dalit communities in Indore and Dewas districts. Our aim is to take trainees from various slums and villages and put them under skill training. The beneficiaries of this project are economically backward groups of dalit and scheduled tribes communities. They belong to the age group of 15 to 30 years. Educationally they are very poor; especially the women who are school dropouts.
Enhancing the employability of disadvantaged poor women, adolescent girls and youth from remote villages and slums of Indore and Dewas districts, for economic viability.
